Rule of Thirds: For Rule of Thirds I drew a wolf howling up at a moon and the artistic behavior I used was Artists make Original Art. It reminds me of a game I played where as a wolf you howl songs and get taught new skills. Positioning: With Positioning, I showed two characters shown as brothers the older one being a mysterious leader and the boy being shy and timid. The behavior I used here was Artists communicate through their work. I show how I like anime and how i like drawing characters in that style. Shapes and Lines: For Shapes and Lines, I made a bird soaring through the air feeling the wind against him. The behavior I used was Artists solve Problems. I normally have trouble drawing animals and also I had trouble with the feet and tail of the bird, but I managed. Rhythm and Repetition & Viewpoint: I decided to put these two together and fit them. I drew an area of trees which are shown in rows and the ones in front are from a lower view to see some branches. The behavior I used is Artists create Original Art. I show this from thinking of it on the spot. Cropping: Last was Cropping, and with it I made a close up view of an owl in the hole of a tree. The behavior I used was Artists Reflect. Before drawing the owl, I thought about how I should draw it and I ended up giving it a cartoony look. |

Artists Collaborate:
Starting on our stereotypes project sometime last week, we had our first critique on Wednesday. From one of the questions about how many stereotypes I would put onto my map, it made me think I would have to come up with a lot of stereotypes to fill everything up. Artists Create Original Art: I was thinking since everyone else was choosing one specific stereotype, I could create a world map filled in with all kinds of stereotypes located in the correct country or continent. |
