1. The artwork that I believe was my most successful is my Stereotypes project. This artwork I made the world full stereotypes, instead of just using one stereotype. I had shown something different with the medium, so I could say that it shows my progression as an artist. 2. The artwork where I overcame the most obstacles was also the Stereotypes. The medium I used was water colors and it was new to me so the whole thing was a one huge obstacle. I had no prior knowledge of what to do this medium and I went in completely clueless. |
3. The two pieces I felt has shown my growth as an artist are my Observation and Stereotype. In the Stereotype, since I used a different medium, I didn't know what to do and it was a challenge. For Observation, I learned to see many details in what an object has. I also learned to see different angles instead of just looking at something from the front. 4. I felt like we had quite a bit of freedom in class, but not to the point where we didn't do anything. What I mean is that we could use whatever medium in our art. There was also a lot more available to us. |
